Lori
Goldman is a textile artist that has been working with wool since she
was 12 years old. She has her B.A. in textiles from San Francisco State
University and her M.A. in sculpture from SFSU as well. The button bracelets began as a gift idea for four of
Lori's friends upon turning 40. She decided to create a wearable
sculpture with their color, mood and personality in mind. She gathered
antique buttons as well as buttons from all over the world to create
these one-of-a-kind bracelets. By encrusting them on hand crocheted
cotton bands, each piece becomes a piece of art!
